We’re in the dog days of the NHL offseason. It’s the time of the year we shift focus to the Buffalo Sabres prospect pool. This is your opportunity to be part of our prospects rankings. We’ll release a final Expected Buffalo top 25 Buffalo Sabres prospect rankings.

Eddy, Austin, Anthony, and I are going to come up with our own top 25 lists. Then, we’ll once again livestream the debate and creation of the consensus top 25 list. You’ll be able to watch on Twitter (X) and YouTube. Once we finalize the date, we’ll be releasing that if you’d like to tune in.

Below is where you can be part of the process. We used the same format as last year to submit your ranking. We’ll compile it into one “fan ranking” to match up against our consensus list.

Here is the prospect’s eligibility to get the list of names you’ll see below:

• Players are under 24 years old.
• Players cannot have played more than 41 NHL games

The following key players have graduated out of the rankings this year due to either games played or age:

• Jiri Kulich
• Ryan Johnson

We’ll be using a different way of voting this year. You can vote at the link below. Do not pay attention to the points on the right. That’s for me when I do the final ranking. You want to rank the players from 1 to 25. After that, it doesn’t matter if you rank the remaining players.

Voting will end at midnight on Wednesday, August 27th.
