Expected Buffalo 2023 Top 25 Sabres Prospects Rankings Prospects by Chad DeDominicis - August 24, 2023August 23, 20230 The Buffalo Sabres have one of the best prospect pools in the NHL. They have a handful of A-quality prospects and a deep pipeline overall. At the beginning of August, we asked fans to participate in our annual vote. Below is how the players ranked based on their average position in over 300 individual fan rankings. Last week, the Expected Buffalo staff got together to create a 2023 consensus prospects rankings. As a reminder, here are the two rules we followed in this ranking: Prospects under 23 years old. Players that appeared in at least 41 NHL games were not eligible. Following these guidelines, we handful of players that were “graduated” from last year’s rankings.
